The construction of the castle started in 1873-1875 by the austrian architect Wilhelm Doderer, but finished by an czech architect Karel Liman (also the builder of Pelisor Castle) in 1914. You will encounter here different architectural styles which will captivate you.

“What a great way to see the rest of Transilvania. We got picked up early by our guide Claudu who has some amazing life stories to tell you. Claudu is very knowledgable about the locations he takes you and Claudu also has a passion for cars so if your a car person Claudu is your man.

Our First stop was to Sighisora. The views and scenery on the way are amazing as well as the history of some of the small towns you pass. Once in Sighisora be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs but at the top the views are spectacular. Now for you Dracula fans you can also see the house of where Vlad the impaler was born.

Our second stop was Sibiu once again the drive and views are spectacular. Once there you can navigate yourself around easily to all the good spots. I highly recommend climbing over 200 steps to get to the top of the steeple to see a view of the entire city.”

“I was in Brasov in October 2018. Florin was on the other end of communication any time I had a question. I booked a trip to a riding stables. I was picked up at my hotel, brought to the stables and was given a choice if I wanted one or two hours. I didn’t know until I was out on the trail. I choose the two hour and when I got back there was no trouble to wait for me. We then headed up and around the skying resort and stopped at a high point to view the hills and Brasov, and then drove through Poiana Brasov and back down to the town. All very pleasant, interesting and the driver was great. He stopped to allow me to photograph a working horse on the road. Definitely so worth this trip. Many thanks to Florin and the driver, which I am sorry to say I can’t remember his name, definitely a great asset to the company. I was a solo woman traveler, and I felt very safe and looked after. Well done Florin and driver. I will be back and will take other trips with this company.”

“My friend and I had the most superb 4-castle tour in early August with Florin. Florin was AMAZING – he knew everything and everyone! He managed to help us cut the queues and provided excellent service. He was helpful, friendly and very nice. We really enjoyed talking with him and listening to his stories. He took us to Bran, Rasnov, Peles and Pelisor castle.
